Nestled at the base of Nowra Hill with natural bushland reserve bordering two boundaries, you'll find the perfect place to leave your pet when you need to be away.

John and Christine Tyrrell are the proprietors of Nowra Kennels & Cattery and they invite you to visit the picturesque grounds that surround the immaculate boarding complex.

Built to house their beautiful German Shepherd show dogs, each kennel is large and well ventilated. Every dog has access to their own automatic drinker and will sleep soundly on a large trampoline bed. Your pet is fully supervised while exercising on lush manicured grass with double security fencing.

Clients individual medical needs are administered at no extra charge and Dr Justin Clarke from Shoalhaven Veterinary Clinic is on call 24 hours a day should your nominated Vet be unavailable.

Your pet will enjoy the freshly prepared meals at Nowra Kennels. Only top quality fresh foods are prepared to caterer for your pet's requirements & fed in the privacy of their own pen. Solid block dividing walls ensure your pet is not harassed by their neighbour while eating.

Content with a generous meal and plenty of exercise, your pet will settle easily with the roller doors on each side of the complex down and securely locked for the night. Tranquillity is maintained by the radio playing lightly as a background comforter and an intercom connects to the main house should your pet need a word of reassurance through the night.

Daily Kennel Hours

(Nowra Kennels & Cattery closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve & New Years Day) 

Mornings - 8am until 9.30am 

Afternoons - 4pm until 5.30pm

Fees are charged from 9.30am the day of check in to 9.30am the following day.

Out of hours check in/out by prior arrangement at a fee of $20.00

• Inspection outside of kennel hours by appointment only.

Payment may be made by cash or cheque. 

No credit card facilities.
